  • 200 g Sbrinz AOC
  • Powdered spices: curry, pepper, cumin

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven grill to 220°C.

Finely grate Sbrinz AOC.

Arrange Sbrinz AOC in 20 cm long and 5 cm wide strips on a nonstick oven shelf or silicone baking sheet. Leave room for expansion as they cook. Allow approx. 10g of Sbrinz AOC per strip.

Powder each strip with a variety spices.

When the top grill is very hot, place the oven shelf or baking sheet in the center of the oven.

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese melts and turns golden along the edges.

Remove the oven shelf or baking sheet from the oven, lift the strips using a spatula, and place on a smooth, flat surface to cool.

Repeat as necessary until all strips are cooked.

Serve as an apéritif with a very dry Fino or champagne.
